Podcasts Freelancers Should Listen To

[DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_SOCIAL_ICONS]

I’ve recently developed a taste for podcasts. I subscribe to every podcast that appears to be even vaguely interesting. I download my favorite shows and fill up my Phone’s capacity to the brim. Even on chilly winter days, I sneak out for long walks so I can listen to an episode uninterrupted. I’m hooked.

As far as addiction is concerned, this is a rather healthy one. I consider it a success if a podcast can get you moving your body and sparking your creativity and imagination. These are a handful of my favorite podcasts for freelancers to listen to.

The Accidental Creative

This podcast has been airing for over a decade! Every week, Todd Henry provides excellent advice for anyone working in a “create-on-demand” world (that includes you!). The show explores concepts about everything related to creative work and provides practical tips on staying inspired and accomplishing your best work every day.

Invisible Office Hours

This show, hosted by two incredible creatives, discusses unconventional work and ways of thinking. Paul and Jason have a billion books and e-courses between them, so they know what’s up when it comes to releasing and sharing creative work.

The Freelance Podcast

This is the podcast for you if you’re new to freelancing or want to make the switch. RJ McCollam, a freelance developer, established this podcast to give real-world advice from people who have made the transition from part-time to full-time freelancing and what they did to get there.

The Lively Show

This one isn’t really related to freelancing, but it’s a personal favorite of mine. Because Jess Lively has a lot of creative professionals and entrepreneurs on as guests, themes like creativity and operating a business come up frequently. Jess and her guests are always inspiring and will inspire you to live your life with intention.
